The China International Leather Exhibition (ACLE) is one of the largest leather exhibitions in the country, organized by the China Leather Association and the Asia Pacific Leather Fair. The exhibition aims to bring new products and technologies to China’s vast leather, footwear, automotive, and furniture manufacturing industries.
On September 3, 2024, the 24th edition of ACLE opened grandly at the Shanghai Pudong New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) for a three-day event. It gathered industry leaders and renowned experts from around the world to showcase advanced leather technologies and high-quality products, leading the innovation wave and future trends in the leather industry.
The exhibition is extensive, covering an area of 92,000 square meters with eight carefully planned exhibition zones. It comprehensively covers every link in the leather industry chain, with exhibits ranging from raw hides to finished leather, footwear materials to leather chemicals, advanced leather machinery to shoemaking equipment, and semi-finished and finished leather for footwear, leather goods, automotive, interior decoration, and clothing. This showcases the full scope and depth of the leather industry.
With over 1,200 participating companies, the number of exhibitors has slightly increased from last year. It is expected to attract 28,000 professional visitors, with 17 exhibitor groups from 9 countries and regions, including Australia, Brazil, China (Fuxin, Haining, Ouhai, Pingyu, Wujix, Xinji, Zhaoyuan), France, Italy, Pakistan, Spain, Thailand, and the United States.
